Jim Giese Roofing

Maintaining a safe work environment and creating a culture of safety is the most highly stressed aspect of the company’s management. We hold an annual mandatory, companywide safety meeting in the spring of each year, as well as other training seminars during the year.

Safety Overview

Each employee is trained to recognize the hazards likely to be encountered in the roofing/ construction environment. All of our regular employees have completed the OSHA 10-hour course, each foreman conducts a weekly toolbox talk and all employees are individually provided with the personal protective equipment necessary for them to work safely. Newly hired employees are not allowed on any jobsite without first receiving safety training.

Formal Safety Program

Formal Safety ProgramThe company has developed a comprehensive safety and drug-testing program, and conducts regular safety training for its employees, including daylong companywide training sessions as well as weekly toolbox talks. Our foremen and most of our employees have completed first-aid training, and the foremen are responsible for the safety of their individual jobsites. For clients requiring specialized training, we conduct workshops to comply with those requirements. For more information regarding our safety program, call us for a copy.

Safety Experience
